Description

Need reliable caregiver(s) - Work one-on-one with one client in his home - for shifts: Mornings (6–9am) Lunch (11 am–Noon) Dinners (5:30–7 pm) Evenings (9–10:30pm) Night (10pm–6am) RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Safely transfer between wheelchair/bed using patient lift. Perform regular bathing, dressing, hygiene, grooming, and toileting (bowel program). Perform routine care of urinary drainage devices and apply and irrigate catheter. Thoroughly/accurately observe, document, and report changes in health condition. Maintain inventory sheet of medical supplies and medications. Assist with positioning, exercises, massage, and range of motion/stretching. Assist with meal planning, shopping, preparation, assist with eating, storage, and cleanup. General housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, ironing, etc. Transport/accompany (to work or appointments) and assist as necessary. Other tasks in the scope of the work agreement acknowledged by both parties. -- Guidance, training, and access will be provided -- ABOUT YOU: You are seeking a part-time caregiving position. You are responsible, reliable, kind, respectful, willing to learn/help, calm, and flexible. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 18 years old. Authorized to work in the United States. High school education (or equivalent). Speak and write in English Live in or near Fort Collins and have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and a safe driving record. Must be able to pass a complete drug screen and a background check in accordance with local law/regulations. Available for weekends and over holiday/academic breaks PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the health/medical field and/or patient care. Some college education or professional training. License or training in the medical field. Also interested in other positions and covering multiple shifts. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
