Support Student Success

Resume Rush

Help provide advice and feedback for students on their resume and cover letters by participating in this twice a year event. Fill out our Recruit at CSU Interest Form and a team member will connect with you on how to engage.

Industry Panels

Serve on an industry panel to help educate students on what it’s like to work in your field, sharing how they too can set themselves up for success. Fill out our Recruit at CSU Interest Form so we can capture your interest and reach out when an opportunity arises.

Virtual Engagement

Handshake – FREE

Post your full-time, internship, hourly positions, as well as, on campus student employment, federal, state and institutional work study positions and off campus hourly positions on Handshake.  Information about how to post an on campus student position can be found in the Employer Resource Center. Should you need assistance in getting your employer account set up, please reach out to Codi Delgadillo (Handshake) or Karri White (Campus Employment).  All job postings are viewable by current CSU students and alumni. 

Local Odd Jobs – FREE

Local positions with families and individuals (non-registered business) that are located within 15 miles of campus can post their part-time positions for currents student at Hire A CSU Student. Positions, once approved, will remain on this secure job board for one month.

Resume Search – FREE

Available for CSU approved employers to do in Handshake. Employers must have a trust score of 80% or greater to access this feature. This feature is not available to Third Party Recruiters or Staffing Firms. Banner Ad – $500

Purchase premium space on the main page of our website, where your Banner Ad will be displayed for one month. Please contact Codi Delgadillo to reserve your Banner Ad.

On-Campus Engagement

Virtual Campus Interviews – FREE

Our Employer Connections Team will assist you in scheduling and promoting your virtual campus interviews (during fall 2020) or on-campus interviews in our Employer Interview Suite with CSU Rams.  We also work to market your position and interview schedule to qualified students.  Submit your request for a virtual or in-person campus interview through Handshake or reach out to Codi Delgadillo for more information.

Connect Events – Costs Vary by Event

These are targeted networking events that allow employers to interact with specific populations of students. Past events have included Diverse Reverse, BioTech, Fed Connect, and the Technology Networking Dinner.  Please reach out to Sam Boren for a complete listing of this year’s Connect events. To register, please go to our events in Handshake.

Student Mixers – $1,000*

The Employer Connections Team will create a special networking event just for your organization, managing event logistics including food and decorations, sending invites to your targeted student population and creating a full marketing campaign to advertise. Please contact Codi Delgadillo to set-up your Mixer.  

Career Fairs – Costs Vary by Event

The Career Center hosts seven different fairs every year, each targeting different industries as well as different student populations. Along with basic tabling options, sponsorships are available for every fair. It’s a fact that those employers who engage on campus have the MOST success in hiring our students! Sponsorship Opportunities – Costs Vary by Event

We host a variety of recruiting events every year and provide sponsorship opportunities for employers who want more branding, more exposure, and additional value for their participation. Please reach out to either Sam Boren for more information.   

Campus Recruitment Program – $2,000* 

This exclusive program services 8 employers every year to build a strategic campus engagement plan with emphasis on consistent branding and recruitment presence, utilizing an assigned student employee hired and trained through the Career Center. This program reaches over 13,000 students annually.  The program is only for identified eligible employers. If you are interested, please reach out to Sam Boren to learn more.

Recruiting Partners Program – $3,000 – $10,000

Become a Career Partner and get the most bang for your buck with a huge on-campus presence. Our Employer Connections Team will work with you to create a customized campus recruitment plan to support your goals. We use a combination of the above services along with developing special events to attract students with the target skill sets for your recruitment needs.
