Katie serves as the Senior Associate Director of Employer Relations, leading her team in the outreach, collaboration, and communication with employers seeking to hire CSU Rams in order to fill their internship and job needs. Partnering closely with college career liaisons and other campus partners, her team works to connect employers directly to their target students through career fairs, on-campus interviews, student programming, CareerRam and the Recruiting Partner’s Program. Before joining CSU in February of 2013, Katie worked in employer relations and marketing at The Career Center at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for three and a half years. During this time she also served as a career counselor, providing her a strong understanding of both students’ needs and employers’ needs in the career development and recruiting process. Prior to entering the career services field, Katie worked for 5+ years at various organizations managing events, public relations and community outreach. Katie is passionate about connecting the right employer to the right student and is excited to be part of the CSU community!
As the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator, Codi oversees On-Campus Interviews, organizes the Just in Time Fair, supports the Employer Advisory Board, and helps coordinate on-campus recruitment activities. Codi works extensively with Handshake, our online recruiting database, and works closely with employers interested in coming to campus to hire CSU Rams. Codi also supervises the review and approvals of jobs & internships on Handshake.
As Assistant Director of Employer Relations, Matt facilitates connections between employers and students. Because each employer has unique hiring needs, Matt takes an individualized approach to help organizations identify the best way to find students and graduates who are the right fit. Finding fit has been a common theme throughout his career: in addition to working in university employer relations for five years, Matt has also served as a recruiter in industry and higher education as well as a career development professional in the non-profit sector. Matt was a part of the CSU MBA programs team for more than six years before joining The Career Center.
Sarah serves as the Employer Connections Coordinator. She leads a team of students for the Career Center’s employer connections program and also works in partnership with employers to find them opportunities to connect with CSU Rams in order to fulfill their recruitment needs. Before joining CSU in August of 2016, Sarah worked as a recruiter in both corporate finance and non-profit organizations for five years. During this time she also utilized her skills in internship program development and management, creative outreach relations, business development, event management, and client relationship management. Sarah was also a ‘Women of Distinction’ nominee and a ‘Leadership Fort Collins’ graduate in 2015. Sarah is a member of Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (MPACE) and Collegiate Career Services of Colorado and Wyoming (CCSA). Sarah enjoys all that Colorado has to offer and has a passion for new restaurants, laughing to tears and traveling the world with her husband. She is passionate about connecting people and is living her career dream to be part of the CSU community!
Lucinda’s has diverse industry experience of more than 20 years, skilled in new business and partnership development, customer relationship management, sales, recruitment and human resource management. In 2002, she began her role in employer relations with Colorado State University’s Career Center. In her role, she has been able to apply her passion and experience in collaborating with people, developing relationships/partnerships, and consulting with employers to support talent acquisition and career success of CSU students and alumni. She supported the re-activation of the CSU Student Society for Human Resource Management in 2007 and serves as faculty co-advisor. She has active roles in Mountain Pacific Association for Colleges and Employers (MPACE) and Collegiate Career Services for Colorado and Wyoming (CCSA). Lucinda has a BA in Mass Communications and Psychology from the University of Denver and a Masters of Education and Human Resources Studies from Colorado State University.
