The Natural Resource Tourism major has two concentrations: Global Tourism and Natural Resource Tourism. Both of these prepare students to contribute to the enjoyment of natural and cultural resources in such a way as to promote sustainable tourism practices, both nationally and internationally. Graduates in Global Tourism may work abroad in private, for-profit enterprises that provide services to tourists using their language and culture skills. Natural Resource Tourism graduates may pursue careers in natural resource-related tourism positions in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.
