International Career Week Program Description:
Join us in daily presentations regarding career readiness in the United States. You will gain valuable information and skills that will support you through the job search process. Presentations will include visa types and processes, fundamentals of resume and cover letters, job search strategies, and interviewing and negotiation. Hosted by the Career Center and International Student Scholar Services.

Day 1: Learn what you need to plan for regarding CPT, OPT, and H-1B visa processes.
Day 2: Learn the fundamentals of writing resumes and cover letters. This session is geared towards US based jobs.
Day 3 Learn strategies for job searching in the U.S., including but not limited to networking, using job boards, and researching specific companies.
Day 4 Learn best practices for interviewing so you can impress employers and land your U.S. We will also discuss what to do once you are offered a job, and how to negotiate your salary and other needs.
